Tap Dance of A Memory Tree

Thursday, May 9th, 2019

It is like from another life.

The tree I love do a tap dance on my memories.

I always say,

Find me a small white house with a vembu

In the front yard.

I would be happy ever after.

Reddish fresh leaves just popped their head outside

On the tip of the branches of the tall old vembu.

The sound of the dance the leaves made with the breeze

Filed the air like jazz.

Decorated with white flowers, the tree boasted its beauty.

Just like a Christmas tree with the blinking lights

The tree glistened with little yellow fruits.

The sign of the fall, and yet another beginning.

(Vembu- Neem tree)
